After a decade of feedback from Orange fans, the Rockerverb is back and better than ever. This amplifier head originally saw the light of day as a high-gain amp, but guitarists throughout the world quickly discovered the true value of this model, namely its versatility and reliability. Orange took everything on board to give the MKIII even more functionality. Just like the Thunderverb and Dual Dark, the Rockerverb now has an attenuator so that you don't lose any tone even at low volume. This workhorse will follow wherever you go.

Rockerverb 50: Clean and Reverb

The MKIII is overflowing with hidden improvements, but the clean channel has undergone a real metamorphosis. The new voicing ensures a clean sound as sparkling as a drop of rain in an oasis. The non-master design has remained the same, but more headroom has been created. This means that your signal gets a nice edge when you turn the amp up and the power tubes start to distort the sound. The reverb now has a wider spectrum, typified by a bright trail, that is perfect for rich, clean tones.

Switchable Power

Another outstanding feature is the Rockerverb MkIII's attenuator. This circuit is located after the master volume control and determines the extent to which the preamp tubes are overdriven. This means that even at low volumes, you won't lose any of the characteristic distortion. In other words, you can enjoy full saturation without deafening volume. With the optional foot switch the attenuator can also be used as a volume boost for both channels which is ideal for solos.
